The First Impression : The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10 Plus

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Plus introduces several noteworthy updates while retaining much of what made its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab S9 Plus, successful.

Design

At a glance, it's nearly indistinguishable from the previous model, with both tablets featuring the same sleek design. Weighing in at 571 grams, the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus maintains its slim and lightweight build. One of the most notable design tweaks is the new omnidirectional magnetic strip on the rear, which allows you to attach and charge the included S Pen in any orientation—an incredibly convenient feature.

In terms of aesthetics, the tablet is available in the subtle but somewhat subdued Moonstone Gray and Platinum Silver color options.

Display

The tablet features a stunning 12.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen, which provides deep blacks, vibrant colors, and impressive clarity. With a 120Hz refresh rate, you can expect smooth scrolling and fluid animations, making it ideal for both entertainment and productivity.

Performance

Under the hood, Samsung has moved away from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors, opting instead for the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chip, which powers the tablet. This high-performance processor is paired with 12GB of RAM in both the 256GB and 512GB storage configurations, ensuring seamless multitasking and performance. If you need more storage, the tablet also supports microSD cards, allowing you to expand your storage easily.

Software

The Galaxy Tab S10 Plus runs Samsung's One UI layered over Android 14, offering an intuitive user experience. Samsung has also doubled down on AI integration, with the tablet offering the full Galaxy AI experience and introducing several new functionalities to enhance productivity and personalization.

Battery Life

Like the Galaxy Tab S9 Plus, the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus is equipped with a 10,900mAh battery, which is expected to provide long-lasting power. However, with the new MediaTek chipset, it's still unclear how this will translate in terms of real-world battery performance, as Samsung has yet to release comprehensive battery benchmarks for this new configuration.
