Young Designers Unfold Creations Inspired by Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 | Z Flip4


 In its commitment to foster creativity and inspire new generations of artists and designers, Samsung Malaysia Electronics is proud to be a key partner of the HUNG Innovation Awards 2022. This is in line with Samsung’s constant quest for innovation and perfecting the craftsmanship of its products to produce highly distinctive mobile devices.


 


This year, the participating designers took inspiration from the bold and iconic range of foldables, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4, and incorporated these elements into their creations. During the finale and awards ceremony recently, the ten young contestants showcased twenty jaw-dropping looks along with Galaxy Z Series smartphones paraded by the models on the runway.

“The theme of creating our designs around the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 challenged me to innovate and think outside the box. The devices were the perfect muse due to their stylish, sleek and pocketable features. I am so pleased to win first place at the awards and am grateful to have this opportunity and experience to springboard my career in this industry,” said Schenric Toh, winner of the The Best Runway Look 2022.


 


The Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 offer much more than its innovative form factors. The HUNG Innovation Awards was established by Malaysian fashion veteran, Gillian Hung, to provide a platform for young, upcoming designers to hone innovation and creativity through their designs, in collaboration with other players and partners within the fashion industry.
