The City’s Talking (and Guessing): Galaxy AYE Stunts Blows Up Online – and 30 Galaxy Tabs Are Up for Grabs!

Heard that everyone’s been wondering — who is the guy in the metallic cape?

The Galaxy A series latest guerrilla stunt has officially made waves. Not just on the tracks, but all over social media.

Since its launch on 30 June, thousands of MRT riders have been surprised by a new kind of commute; 10 fully wrapped Galaxy A themed trains, a mysterious figure in a holographic cape, rolling music, and one addictive brand jingle – “Pilih Galaxy A, Memang Smart AYE”. It’s not just a train ride anymore, it’s definitely a moving playground that’s impossible to miss.

Commuters were quick to spot The Aye Guy – the mysterious figure in holographic-caped mystery onboard – and even quicker to post about it, turning their encounters into viral-worthy reels and sparking funny conversations in the comments. Content creators including @shengyou, @notnaddyro, @winniejlk, @mayraa.ray, and @zhen_ting were among the first to share their experiences on TikTok, and Instagram, generating strong engagement and plenty of comments asking: “How many Ayes did you hear?”

The videos captured the Aye Train experience in full swing, with the beat of the Galaxy A series brand jinggle, surprise appearances mid-ride, and reactions from the commuters caught off guard in the best way. Across platforms, the response was loud, curious and full of the one question everyone’s asking: How Many ‘A’s did you hear?

Whether you caught the stunt live on the MRT or watched it blow up on your feed, you can still join the challenge.
