A new world of play: MR. TOY unveils a new concept store at MyTown Shopping Centre

MR. TOY, the dedicated toy retail brand under MR.D.I.Y. Group [M] Berhad, has unveiled an all-new concept store at MyTOWN Shopping Centre in Cheras – a vibrant reimagination designed to excite kids, parents, and kidults alike.

Launched in 2019, MR. TOY has earned a loyal following for its wide variety, affordable and good quality toys. The refreshed store not only builds on these foundations but introduces an exciting new layout and look – more fun and engaging, and organised into themed zones to spark imagination and make toy discovery fun and intuitive.

Visitors will find everything from collectable figures and plush toys to robots, remote- control cars, surprise blind boxes, and party supplies, across various toy categories. The new design makes it easier than ever to find something special for every kind of play.

Recognising that play is ageless, MR. TOY also caters to kidults – grown-up toy lovers, collectors, and nostalgia-seekers.

“This refreshed version of MR. TOY is more than just a toy store – it’s a place where imagination comes to life,” said Alex Goh, Vice President Marketing at MR D.I.Y. Group. “Whether you’re a child, a parent, or simply young at heart, we’ve created a space that’s fun, inspiring, and full of surprises. It’s about sparking joy, fuelling creativity, and making memories, all at the affordable prices customers expect from us.”

To celebrate the new store, MR. TOY is hosting a special four-day Grand Opening Event from 3 to 6 July 2025 at its MyTOWN store featuring:
