Our First Impression : Samsung Galaxy Watch 6

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 may appear familiar in terms of design at first glance, but beneath its surface lies a significant upgrade that sets it apart from its predecessor. We love the way it look at!

Design and Build

Available in sizes of 40mm and 44mm, and offered in black and silver color options, the Galaxy Watch 6 maintains a similar design language to its predecessor. The watch body is crafted from aluminum, lending it a durable yet lightweight build. Complementing the body is the Sport Band strap, which is made from synthetic rubber, ensuring comfort during extended wear.

One of the most apparent design changes is the larger display on the Galaxy Watch 6. Through a clever reduction of bezel size by 30%, the previous 1.2-inch and 1.4-inch screens have grown to 1.3 inches and 1.5 inches, respectively. Despite this expansion, the watch's overall footprint remains unchanged, resulting in a more immersive and visually appealing user experience.

The slimmed-down bezel and larger display contribute to the Galaxy Watch 6's sleek appearance, making it an attractive accessory for daily wear. Moreover, the watch boasts robust durability, with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, as well as a 5ATM rating for added water resistance. Its MIL-STD toughness rating further ensures its ability to withstand challenging conditions.

Performance and Software

Beneath its refined exterior, the Galaxy Watch 6 boasts new internals that enhance its overall performance. This improved hardware, combined with the utilization of WearOS 4, results in a smoother and more responsive user experience. WearOS 4 brings additional features and optimizations to the table, expanding the watch's capabilities and compatibility with various apps.

Battery Life

With the larger battery, the Galaxy Watch 6 offers extended battery life, allowing users to enjoy its features for longer periods without frequent recharging. This improved longevity is particularly beneficial for those who rely on their smartwatch throughout the day.
