Benihana Opens in KLCC

A global icon has arrived in Kuala Lumpur, and it’s ready to set the city’s culinary stage ablaze.

Benihana — the world-renowned teppanyaki restaurant that has dazzled diners across continents — officially opens its first Malaysian outlet at Suria KLCC, marking an exciting new chapter in the city’s ever-evolving dining landscape.

From New York to Tokyo, Dubai to Bangkok, and now Kuala Lumpur, Benihana promises more than just a meal — it’s an experience.

THE ART OF TEPPANYAKI, ELEVATED

For decades, Benihana has redefined the dining table as a place of theatre: where expert chefs wield their knives with precision, flipping, slicing, and searing dishes in front of mesmerized guests. But with Benihana Malaysia, the brand raises the bar even higher.

Here, diners step into:

✨ A dynamic main dining room anchored by an intimate teppanyaki station, offering front-row seats to the fire, flair, and flavours of live cooking;

✨ A broadened menu that goes beyond the teppan grill — featuring inventive Japanese dishes crafted with boldness and finesse;

✨ Exclusive private dining rooms designed for intimate gatherings, celebrations, and corporate dinners, blending Benihana’s signature energy with a bespoke, personalized touch.

Every visit promises a feast for the senses — the sizzle of the grill, the aroma of premium ingredients, the laughter sparked by a chef’s playful performance, and the lingering taste of dishes crafted with precision and heart.

A SPACE DESIGNED TO INSPIRE

Located on the 4th floor of Suria KLCC, Benihana Malaysia unveils a space that pays homage to Japanese heritage while embracing contemporary sophistication.

Natural stone textures, warm ambient lighting, and sleek material finishes create an environment that feels both elegant and inviting. At its heart: the open teppanyaki counter, where culinary mastery takes center stage.

For those seeking a quieter, more intimate experience, the private rooms offer a sanctuary — perfect for marking life’s milestones, impressing business partners, or simply indulging in exceptional dining with loved ones.

A MESSAGE FROM THE TEAM

“We are proud to bring the Benihana experience to Malaysia, and even prouder to introduce it at a landmark location like Suria KLCC,” says Kesavan Purusotman, Managing Director of Continuum Hospitality Group.

“We can’t wait to welcome guests to a space where great food, lively entertainment, and unforgettable memories come together seamlessly.”

“Benihana has always been about more than just great dining,” adds Kyran, Director of Benihana Malaysia.

“It’s about creating moments — the laughter around the table, the amazement during the performance, the flavours that stay with you long after the meal is done. We’re excited to now share that magic with Malaysia.”

YOUR NEXT DESTINATION FOR CELEBRATIONS & GATHERINGS

Open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Benihana Malaysia is poised to become a new landmark for family dinners, business meetups, date nights, and festive celebrations in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

Whether you come for the teppanyaki theatrics or to explore the wider world of Japanese flavours, one thing is certain:

At Benihana, every meal is a performance, and every guest is part of the show.
