CASIO EDIFICE Commemorates TOM'S 50th Anniversary with a Special Edition Paying Homage to TOM'S First-Ever Race Car

Casio Computer Co., Ltd. has introduced the latest model in its EDIFICE line, the TOM’S 50th Anniversary Edition EFS-S641TMS. This timepiece celebrates TOM’S racing legacy, a top Japanese racing team established in 1974. The watch’s design draws inspiration from the iconic TOM’S KP47 Starlet race car, a vehicle that dominated Japan’s motorsports scene in the 1970s with an impressive record of 22 pole positions, 20 wins, and three series championships.

The EFS-S641TMS features the distinctive color palette of the KP47 Starlet—white, red, and green—on its dial and leather band loop. Its metal band loop is designed with a tapered shape and two differently sized holes, reminiscent of the car's side mirror mounting arms.

The watch face showcases two inset dials, taking design cues from TOM'S original Igeta wheels, with their signature sharp mark (#) spoke design. A honeycomb pattern at the 3 o’clock position, inspired by the car’s front grille, further emphasizes the connection to the race car, with a purple hue that echoes the engine’s cylinder head cover.

This collaborative timepiece marks TOM’S 50th anniversary and underscores the EDIFICE brand’s commitment to motorsport-inspired design. It is a fitting tribute to b historic achievements while looking ahead to its future in racing.

This model is now available on the Casio E-Commerce Website, LAZADA's CASIO Flagship Store, and at CASIO Authorised Dealers for RM 1,649.
