You’ve probably experienced wishing to enjoy your favourite music or movies with a friend in public, but there’s always certain circumstances that prevent you from doing so – whether it’s the overly noisy or quiet environment, or the idea of sharing earbuds is unhygienic. This amazing feature has been around Galaxy Buds for a while, but not many are aware of it. So, allow us, to re-introduce this special one to you. Much like its modest name implies, Buds Together can easily connect two sets of Galaxy Buds together and play the same music or movie simultaneously. To activate this, all you have to do is turn on Music Share on both Galaxy smartphones, then pair both the Galaxy Buds to one compatible Galaxy smartphone. Whereas on the other smartphone, a notification asking for “Allow Access” will pop out. Just tap “Accept”, you can control both earbuds – the volumes and music choice – on your smartphones!

If someone phones you in the middle of your Buds Together moment, no worries about your friend overhearing on your conversation. The feature respects your privacy and will temporarily disconnect the earbuds from the connected phone and reconnect back once the call ends.


The Buds Together feature supports devices running One UI 2.5 and above, which includes the Galaxy Buds Live, Galaxy Buds Pro, Galaxy Buds2 and Galaxy Buds2 Pro. However, for the best experience, we suggest enjoying this feature with the latest Galaxy Buds– the Galaxy Buds2 Pro!
