Andaz Bali - An Immersive Family Holiday In SanurAndaz Bali - An Immersive Family Holiday In Sanur

After two years of staying mostly indoors, what a relief it is to be outdoors to enjoy the greatest gift of nature. At Andaz Bali, guests are welcome to swap their heels for flip-flops (or even walk barefoot!) to explore the village on a bicycle or trade Zoom calls with chats with our Cultural Insider. Conceived as a modern interpretation of a Balinese village, Andaz Bali offers guests a chance to be restored and revived with immersive activities within its lush grounds.

During their stay, guests can take part in a myriad of complimentary activities. From batik making to crafting a hat from coconut leaves, there are plenty of options to keep hands and minds curious while on holiday. The activities are available daily, starting from 5:30 AM, with sunrise stretch sessions and concluding with the evening ritual of sandikala at 6:00 PM.

The sandikala ritual begins with our associates walking around the hotel whilst hitting a kul kul, a bamboo instrument, to scare away evil spirits. A bonfire is then lit at the main entrance to rid the negative energy (pictured).

The little ones will love spending time at Kemu Mai Kids Club. The name Kemu Mai means roaming freely in Balinese, and the vast green space of the kids’ club allows the children to do just that. Modeled after a Balinese house, the kids’ club features a spacious indoor and outdoor playground, with activities that encourage kids to make new friends and take a pause from screen time. They will be engaged in kite making, Balinese dance lessons, and treasure hunting amongst others.

Next to activities for the young and young at hearts, the resort also lends bicycles for in-house guests to explore Sanur, a quaint fishing village best explored on two wheels or on foot. Cycle as a family or on your own, and explore the local’s life as well as Sanur’s alleys, hole in the wall coffee shop, and lovely sunrise spots.

Take in all these activities and enjoy perks with School’s Out package, tailored for families during June to September school holiday. The package is priced at IDR 3,500,000 nett and includes accommodation in Deluxe room, complimentary extra bed for two children, daily breakfast, free ice cream for kids, one time family photo session and best of all – complimentary use of Kemu Mai for four hours so parents can enjoy their time off too.

Bookings can be made through DPSAZ-Reservation@andaz.com quoting School’s Out package. Booking period until 14 July 2022 for stay until 30 September 2022.
