Samsung Continues Expanding One UI 8.5 Beta Program to More Galaxy Devices

  Samsung is expanding the One UI 8.5 beta program to additional Galaxy devices. Following the expansion of One UI 8.5 beta in March , the program is now rolling out to more devices, including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy S23 FE, and, for the first time on the A series, Galaxy A36 5G. The beta will be available in select markets, including India, Korea, the U.K. and the U.S. , as part of a phased rollout. Building on our ongoing collaboration with Android, Samsung is introducing support for AirDrop through Quick Share on One UI 8.5 beta, enabling more seamless cross-platform file sharing for Galaxy users on select devices, including Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 . The beta program will continue to expand to additional Galaxy devices later this month. Users can register via the Samsung Members app.

100 aircraft, 44 months and 4.4 million man hours: Emirates’ retrofit programme marks major milestone

 Emirates has reached a landmark 100 aircraft refurbished under its retrofit programme, the largest known undertaken by any airline globally. Since work began in November 2022, 47 Airbus A380s and 53 Boeing 777s have been given a complete nose-to-tail refresh at the Emirates Engineering hangars in Dubai. By the end of December 2026, around 20 additional aircraft will be upgraded, moving the airline significantly past the halfway point in its US$ 5 billion investment aimed at delivering a consistently elevated experience to customers. Over a period of 44 months, the Emirates Engineering team has deployed more than 400 engineers and technicians, investing a collective 4.4 million man hours to transform 100 aircraft and deliver a sophisticated upgrade across the cabin interiors of all the aircraft.
