IRAMA RASA: A Sky-High Celebration of Heritage at Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur

This February, Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur invites guests to dine above the clouds with the unveiling of IRAMA RASA, a thoughtfully curated buffet dinner experience set against the breathtaking backdrop of Merdeka 118.

Taking place from 23 February to 15 March 2026, IRAMA RASA transforms the Executive Salon on Level 98 into a refined culinary stage where Malaysian heritage meets global craftsmanship. Framed by panoramic city views and accompanied by live gamelan performances, the experience unfolds in an atmosphere of calm reflection and cultural resonance.

At its heart, IRAMA RASA is a tribute to the rhythms of tradition — the stillness before sunrise, the warmth of gathering at dusk, and the quiet rituals that bring families and communities together. Through Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur’s signature refinement, these narratives are translated into a dining journey rooted in memory, spice and shared moments.

A Dialogue Between Heritage and Craft

Presented as a curated à la minute buffet, IRAMA RASA balances the abundance of self-service with the finesse of live cooking stations. Dishes are prepared to order — hot, vibrant and expressive — elevating the conventional buffet into a more intimate culinary dialogue.

Authentic Malay signatures anchor the experience. Guests can savour Peha Ayam Kuzi Badam Hancur, rich with aromatic spices, and Urap Kekapis featuring scallops, tempeh and spiced peanut sauce. Regional influences follow with Sarawak Laksa with lobster, served in a fragrant coconut gravy, alongside the indulgent Wagyu Brioche John, layered with sauerkraut, Espelette aioli and Swiss cheese.

The self-service spread offers further exploration, from Jenahak Goreng Rampai Cili Garing to Braised Egg Tofu with abalone, each dish reflecting the restaurant’s attention to balance and depth of flavour.

Global Flavours, Elevated

Beyond Malaysian classics, IRAMA RASA extends its narrative across continents. Mediterranean and Middle Eastern influences appear in dishes such as Mediterranean Roasted Lamb Rack with dukkah spice and smoked eggplant caviar and the restaurant’s Signature Saffron Paella with lamb merguez and market seafood.

Indian and Asian accents continue the journey with Wok-Fried Angus Beef and Lamb Shank Kadai, richly infused with curry leaves and dry spices, delivering warmth and complexity in every bite.

The experience concludes on notes of comfort and nostalgia. A signature Teh Tarik Mille Feuille reimagines a beloved local beverage in refined pastry form, while a live soft-serve station and curated Malaysian desserts offer a gentle, assured finale — understated yet memorable.
