Midea Launches INSTA-FIT Master Series and Laundry Suite: Smarter Design for Healthier, Stylish Homes

Midea, a global leader in smart home appliances, has debuted its latest INSTA-FIT Master Series refrigerators and Laundry Suite in Malaysia, delivering a new standard for seamless design, healthier living, and intelligent home care.

“Homeowners today want appliances that complement their living spaces without compromising performance,” said Mark Tam, Managing Director of Midea Malaysia. “The INSTA-FIT Master Series and Laundry Suite were designed to bring style, convenience, and healthier living to modern homes.”

Seamless Design Meets Smart Living

Midea’s new lineup reflects a growing demand for appliances that fit effortlessly into open, contemporary home designs.

“As kitchens and living spaces become more integrated, appliances need to blend in rather than disrupt,” said Iko In, Founder of iN Design Lab. “The INSTA-FIT Master Series’ perfect slot-in fit and the slim-profile Laundry Suite exemplify how style and functionality can coexist beautifully.”

INSTA-FIT Master Series: Healthier Homes Begin in the Kitchen

The INSTA-FIT Master Series refrigerators are designed for modern minimalist kitchens, featuring a slim 600mm depth that fits seamlessly into cabinetry with zero installation required.

Their Shadow Grey finish, GlowTech illuminated handle, and scratch-resistant, fingerprint-free surfaces combine practicality with understated style.

Inside, a generous Gross 620L capacity, 90° accessible drawers, a flexible flip-tray system, and a bright LED light wall provide effortless organisation and visibility.

But it’s the health-first innovations that set the series apart:

  • V-Tech soft-freeze drawers keep meat and fish fresh for up to 7 days without defrosting
  • IPL Purify sterilises packaged food in just 3 minutes
  • PST+ Plasma Sterilisation eliminates odours in 9 minutes while neutralising harmful bacteria
  • Connected to the SmartHome App, users can adjust temperature, track energy use, receive food-expiry reminders, and run self-diagnostics remotely.

The INSTA-FIT Master Series is also officially recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records as the first refrigerator in the market with PST+ Plasma Sterilisation and the highest level of virus elimination and odour purification — setting a new benchmark for freshness and safety.

Laundry Suite: Compact, Smart, and Hygienic

The new Midea Laundry Suite is designed for effortless home care in a slim, all-in-one washer-dryer combo that fits seamlessly into cabinetry.

Its 10kg washing + 8kg drying capacity easily handles bulky household items such as curtains. A central 115cm colourful touchscreen puts both wash and dry controls at eye level for intuitive use.

With Turbo technology, the Laundry Suite can complete a full wash-and-dry cycle in just 35 minutes, while its heat-pump drying system at 42°C ensures gentle, energy-saving care.

It also prioritises hygiene with UV sterilisation, steam cleaning, mite removal, and self-cleaning functions, guaranteeing fresh and hygienic laundry every time.
