Samsung Galaxy Station Unveiled at TRX: Elevating Connectivity on MRT Kajang Line

Samsung Malaysia extends a warm invitation to Malaysians for the grand unveiling of the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) Samsung Galaxy Station on the MRT Kajang Line. This collaboration marks Samsung's integration into the network of 29 stations along the TRX Station and Putrajaya line, reaching over 220,000 daily riders.



Present at the unveiling ceremony were Denny Kim (President of Samsung Malaysia), Elaine Soh (Chief Marketing Officer), and Kevin Kim Tae Hoon (Business Director of Mobile eXperience) from Samsung Malaysia, along with Datuk Mohd Zarif Hashim (Chief Executive Officer), En Shahrul Fadli Omar (Chief Financial Officer), and Schrene Goh (Chief Commercial Officer) from Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp).


The TRX Samsung Galaxy Station, the largest interchange station between the TRX station and Putrajaya Line, directly serves The Exchange TRX, a world-class lifestyle destination in Kuala Lumpur's international financial district. Commuters will be greeted by Samsung Galaxy’s visuals and advertisements, creating a vibrant space powered by Galaxy AI.




Datuk Mohd Zarif Hashim, CEO of MRT Corp, expressed, “We are pleased to welcome the globally renowned Samsung Galaxy as our Station Naming Rights and Station Domination Advertising partner at this station, now named TRX Samsung Galaxy MRT Station.”


Denny Kim, President of Samsung Malaysia, emphasized the collaboration's vision for a more connected future, enhancing convenience and accessibility.


As a special treat, all Samsung Galaxy users can redeem free RM5 Touch 'n Go credit from Samsung Experience Store at The Exchange TRX using the Samsung Members app. This giveaway is part of Samsung Malaysia's efforts to encourage commuters to experience the convenience of the MRT to TRX Exchange mall at no cost.


The unveiling also coincides with the availability of the new Galaxy S24 series in Malaysia. The Galaxy S24 series introduces new Galaxy AI experiences, including features like Live Translate, Chat Assist, Circle to Search with Google, and the ProVisual Engine, a suite of AI-powered camera tools. The Galaxy S24 series offers a range of exclusive deals worth up to RM1,650 until March 14, 2024.
